"The Bastards Have Landed!"

Before he became involved with the Hobbits and The 8th Wonder Of The World, Director Peter Jackson gave us brain eating Aliens, a Fox singing about Sodomy and a Sumatran Rat-Monkey!

Bad Taste, Meet The Feebles and Braindead may have been outrageously disgusting, bloody and at times vomit inducing, but they were also wickedly funny. As a result they became big cult hits amongst the video generation.

The Bastards Have Landed is the home of the Official Peter Jackson Fan Club. It's a treasure trove of stills, posters, clips and music from Bad Taste through to The Frightners. Listening to the songs from Meet The Feebles again reminded me of the vinyl picture disc of the soundtrack I once had. Like most picture discs it was crackly and slightly warped but it was a thing of beauty!
