The Return Of Kal-el

There was I thinking that Superman Returns in 2006. It looks like he is here already... Congratulations to Comics fan Nicolas Cage and his wife on the birth of their son Kal-el (BBC Report).

Meanwhile back in Smallville... After a patchy 4th Season, Season 5 has just started with several bangs. Another meteor shower! How unlucky is this town? The first episode delivers in a big way. Highlight to reveal Spoilers 4 There's the Fortress of Solitude, another spaceship, two superpowered Goons of General Zod, the gorgeous Chloe reveals something, Clark becomes impotent and some black gunk forms into... James (Spike) Marsters AKA Brainiac !
Hopefully the series won't revert back to meteor rock freak of the week stories and will continue Clark's evolution to tie up nicely with Bryan Singer's movie next year.
