Sing For Me

Although it was released back in January, The Fiery Furnaces EP (a collection of UK singles, b-sides and odds 'n sods) still gets my vote as the best pop CD of the year.


Matt and Eleanor Friedberger, bring their weird and wonderful music to the ICA, London on October 24th. The gig coincides with the release of their new album Rehearsing My Choir, a collection of songs recorded with the Friedbergers' 83-year-old grandmother, Olga Sarantos. As if this wasn't enough, another new album, Bitter Tea, is due in the new year.
