Away With The Fairies

Tonight I'll be making my annual reconnection with my Irish roots by going to see The Saw Doctors play.

Irish Roots? Well I've not got any that I know of, however the music and the good feeling of being at one of their shows brings out the leprechaun in me.

Yes, I'll be singing along to songs about Galway and Mayo, Tuam, and Céilí bands and doing the funny Tommy K dance. Irish for the night and proud of it. To prepare I've put on some green pants and my friend (who I shall call Paddy) and I will be having a pre-gig warm up in a couple of Irish pubs.


Always one of the best nights of the year.
