Charlton And The Wheelies

Looks like the wheels have come off of Charlton's impressive drive up the Premiership. Now it's a dive down the Premiership. Yesterday's 2-5 tonking by Manchester City highlighted the truth - their players aren't all that good. Chris Perry and Luke Young were 'average' players at best whilst at Spurs. Having a team full of mediocre players is no longer good enough to keep a side in the top half of the table.

Speaking of West Ham... I like them, I really do. I've got a feeling they'll get stuffed by Birmingham tonight. If they manage to grab Roy Keane or (more importantly) Andy Johnson in January's transfer window then they might do quite well and not have to worry about being sucked into the relegation battle at the end of the season.
