You'd Better Be Good
I went along to Tesco this afternoon and stocked up on some essential provisions to get me through the next couple of days. Yeah, I got some chocs, an apple pie, some Cornish Ice cream, an Elvis triple CD set and of course a couple of bottles of Banrock Station Colombard Chardonnay.
On returning home I found Sympathy For Lady Vengeance in my mailbox so I slipped it into my DVD player.
Korean art film or violent revenge exploitation movie? The answer is 'Yes' to both! It is beautifully shot and whilst less gut-wrenching than its predecessor Oldboy, it's just as disturbing. Certainly a film to watch again soon. Recommended.
To relax a little I then opened a bottle of white, 'cos that's the kind of mood I'm in tonight. Sod saving it for tomorrow I thought. A couple of glasses later and I believe I saw The Goodies singing Funky Gibbon on the TV. Very strange and still funny after all these years.
It's starting to get colder now and the stars are appearing. I tried going to bed early, snuggled up under the duvet, but a shadow broke through my window and when I looked outside I could see something flying across the face of the moon.
Ho Ho Ho. Merry Christmas Everybody.
