Jack's Back... Again

Season 5 of 24 has got off to a flying start. After 18 months of lying low, the officially dead Jack Bauer is being framed for an assassination and he has to return to LA in order to find the real culprit.

After four exciting episodes a terrorist threat has been overcome but, just like in the previous Seasons, there's always something bigger to deal with in the hours ahead. So far it's like the 24 we know and love.


It would be good though to take it in different, less predictable directions.

It's nice to see Chloe get a little bit more action out of the CTU office (and in the bedroom). Is Edgar getting a little jealous? It's also good to see another of the Hobbits finally get a job after faffing about for too long with Mr Frodo.

One thing that is really strange about the new 24 is having Celebrity Big Brother's Pete Burns playing one of the main characters!

Anything can happen in the next 20 hours.
