Total Recall
Shit, apparently it's International Blog Day today. I guess it means that I'm expected to write another post even if I've got nothing witty or informative to say (what do you mean that hasn't stopped me in the past?). Oh the pressure.
I'm feeling mightily hungover this morning. I really must have had too much alcohol last night as I ended up buying a copy of Mojo magazine at Kings Cross Station on the way home. Nobody ever writes about this side effect of the demon drink.
The night had started so well; With Musty MC not being able to turn down a free meal, it was just Da Biike and myself who went along to Soho's Pop Bar to see the first live gig by Liquid. Very good it was too.
Singer/songwriter/guitarist Paul Fallon, a member of the London Underground movement, got this band together at very short notice. Any lack of rehearsal time didn't show as their performance went down well with the enthusiastic audience.
One of the good things about blogging this stuff is that in 3 years time I might be thinking What was I doing 3 years ago? Ah yes, I was at the Pop Bar, I went to the first ever Liquid gig!
Now what was I doing 3 years ago today? I was at Giants Stadium, New Jersey. Thanks to the tapers that were there I can now look back and remember a great night. It was show number 10 of the 10 show stand at the Stadium that summer and this was the last song that was played; A goosebump giving moment for all those who were there.
