Doggy Position

The recent horrific Rottweiler attacks on young children in the UK have quite rightly provoked public outrage. The media has been flooded with people presenting views ranging from ban this dangerous breed and punish the owners to it's not the fault of the dogs, the children must have provoked them. It seems that Rotties have the potentional to be lovable pets and/or savage killers.

The other day when I asked the Man in the Street the following question: 'What do you think should be done about Rottweilers?'
and he said...

'KILL THEM AND KILL THEIR OWNERS TOO'
Perhaps that's a bit of an extreme view. I'm not sure about my position on this issue other than future attacks must be prevented. Owners must be made to take responsibility for the actions of their dogs by law. The dogs must be trained properly and muzzled in the presence of children. Sometimes common sense needs to be enforced.
