'Anybody wanna go on up to Greasy Lake?'

To cheer myself up, it's time for a classic Springsteen song; one of the three tracks that Manfred Mann's Earth Band covered from Bruce's debut album 'Greetings From Asbury Park, NJ' - Spirit In The Night.

Spirit is rarely heard in concert these days. The E Streeters did however pull the following magical performance out of their hats towards the end of the Rising Tour. The last show at Giants Stadium was professionally filmed, in Hi Def, but that recording has never seen the light of day. However, the good news is that dedicated fans have made a great camcorder edit - a nice reminder for those of us who were there of how special the night was...
