Just got back from the fantastic POLYSICS gig @ the Spitz. Electro-pop ala '79! Kaja Kaja Gooooooooooooooo!
Wow, I'm still sweating like a piglet - I need a shower!
A trivial and disposable life. Stop by and say 'hi'. Brain training for free.

I'm looking forward to seeing POLYSICS play live next week at The Spitz. This lot are bonkers! Here's one of my favourite vids to help get in the mood. Warning - causes involuntary limb movement!

On Saturday I was killing a bit of time by browsing through the Virgin megastore CD racks. I thought that I might find something cheap I'd like in the Sale. Not a sausage, it was all mainstream pap.
I did however stumble across a CD not in the sale called Polysics or Die!!!! by a Japanese band Polysics.
I couldn't remember hearing of them before but the CD looked interesting with track titles like BUGGIE TECHNICA, MAKING SENSE, XCT, ENO and FOR YOUNG ELECTRIC POP. Plus there was a cover of MY SHARONA on it!
Intrigued I decided to buy it.
If you are a fan of Japanese new wave electro pop, Devo, Red Noise, and early XTC (and who isn't?) then I think you'll like this CD. It's a compilation of tracks from several years worth of Polysics albums. There are obvious nods to Red Noise and YMO on it. Great fun and a good blind purchase.
