Hold that Banana

I'm watching Jools Holland's show right now. A few minutes ago there was this nice suave 89 year old man on; Henri Salvador, a famous singer and guitarist, who has had a very long and successful career in France.

'Never heard of him' I thought, which shows a terrible lack of knowledge on my part. Then I thought 'hold on a second' and dashed over to my PC to find that I have had one of his songs bookmarked in my browser favourites list for months. Yes, it's that Henri Salvador...

Licensed to kill

I've just received an encoded electronic message telling me to meet 'Bond, James Bond', tonight, 7:30pm at the glamourous Cineworld Enfield. This means I've got just an hour to learn Russian and clean my gun.

Bright New Tomorrow. Today.

Well, today is my first day as a man of leisure. I gave up my job because I was fed up with the direction it was going in. Normally someone only does this if they have something else lined up; like getting another job, traveling the world, going back to college or becoming a househusband. Me? No, I've never had any grand ambitions and I've been so busy in my last month as a wage slave that I've not had time to think about or plan my future. Actually being a househusband sounds like it would be ideal for me right now - unfortunately I'm not married.

It's 9am and I'm not bored... yet. Things to do: Get my car's a/c fixed, give my flat a good spring clean, sort out some financial stuff, go for a jog in the rain, join all of the other Zombies walking around Tesco, finish off editing my Peru holiday video, write the first page of my novel and er... what time is Deal or No Deal on?

OK, that's week one sorted but I need to find a few other things to do. I've been thinking about learning a foreign language. I'd like to try Japanese or Spanish, both however are very popular right now and it might be hard to find a place on a course. Mon Dieu! Does that mean I'll have to take up French?

Sigh, I don't know why but I could watch this educational video all day. C'est fantastique!
